The easiest way to arrive at begin the Mull Grand Traverse is to get the 40 minute ferry from Oban [http://www.multimap.com] on the mainland to Craignure on Mull. We recommend that you do not bring your car over on the ferry, there will be no need for it and it will cost you a lot more money than if you cross as a foot passenger. However, if you would like bring your car so you can explore this amazing island then please do so, just let us know so we can book a place on the ferry for you. Ferry information can be found on the Caledonian Macbrayne website http://www.calmac.co.uk There is a train station only 1 minutes walk away from the ferry terminal in Oban and therefore allowing an easy and carbon reducing way of travelling to the Mull Grand Traverse. Information on trains to Oban can be found at www.firstscotrail.co.uk
The sponsorship raised from the Mull Grand Traverse will go towards both the Martyn Bennett Trust and the Marie Curie Cancer Centres. |
